Salesforce Project Scoping Questionnaire

Seven questions that turn your Salesforce project idea into a scope summary to share internally or with us. It is not a quote or a timeline.

Salesforce project scoping starts with a few plain questions: what you want to achieve, which area matters most, how many people will use it, how much data and integration is involved, who will run it afterwards and whether a date is fixed. This questionnaire asks those seven questions and gives you a scope summary to share internally or with us. Your answers stay in your browser.

Before you start: agree who the main sponsor is and which team will use the solution first. If people disagree on the main goal, answer the questionnaire separately and compare the summaries; the differences are worth settling before any project begins.

Project scoping questionnaire

Answer what you can. You get a scope summary to share internally or with us. It is not a quote or a timeline: those depend on details we would agree with you. Your answers stay in your browser.

01 What is the main goal?
02 Which area is most important?
03 Roughly how many people will use the solution?
04 How much data needs to move or be cleaned?
05 How many integrations are needed?
06 Who will run it after launch?
07 Is there a fixed date driving the project?

How to use the result

The summary lists your answers in one place and suggests services that usually fit. It is not a quote or a timeline: cost and time depend on details we would agree with you.

  • Share it before the first meeting. It saves the first conversation from covering basics, and helps everyone see the same scope.
  • Add what the questionnaire cannot capture: the licences you already hold, known data quality problems and who signs off each stage.
  • Check licences early. Sales Cloud editions changed in September 2026, and some capabilities are add-ons, so confirm what you own with your account team.
  • Treat a fixed date as a constraint, not a plan. If a contract, licence or regulatory date drives the project, say so, and plan scope around it.

Questions we hear

Will you send us a price from this?
No. We do not estimate cost or time from a questionnaire. We would discuss the details with you first.
Is our information stored?
Answers stay in your browser unless you copy the summary and share it.
Can we use it for an existing org?
Yes. Choose "Improve or rescue an existing org" as the goal, and mention known problems when you share the summary.
What if we do not know an answer?
Pick the closest option and note the uncertainty when you share the summary. We can work through the gaps together.
