Salesforce consulting for mid-market teams
Salesforce consulting for mid-market companies: scoped to what you need now, delivered in phases, and planned around the admin capacity you really have.

Mid-market companies have a particular Salesforce problem. Requirements look like an enterprise's, but the budget, the team and the tolerance for disruption are smaller. Our mid-market Salesforce consulting is built around that gap. We scope tightly, deliver in phases, buy only the licences you need and plan who will run the system after go-live.
To start, answer our project scoping questionnaire. For our broader consulting offer, see Salesforce consulting.
What's included
| Area | What we do |
|---|---|
| Scoping | A workshop and written scope that separates first-release needs from later phases |
| Licence fit | Check which edition and add-ons your requirements need under the 2026 editions |
| Phased delivery | A first release for one team or process, then further phases based on use |
| Admin capacity | A plan for who runs Salesforce after go-live, with training or support to match |
| Data | Cleanse and migrate only the data people will actually use |
| Integration | Connect the systems that matter most first |
| Adoption | Layouts, reports and training built around how your team works |
How we work
- 01
Discovery
Interview users and leaders, review current tools and data, and agree goals for the first release.
- 02
Design
Design the data model, processes, security and integrations for phase one, and outline later phases.
- 03
Build
Configure standard features first, then add Flow automation or code only where needed.
- 04
Test
Run user acceptance testing with the people who will use the system.
- 05
Launch
Go live for the first team, with training and a short period of close support.
- 06
Support
Hand over to your admin, or continue with managed support, and plan the next phase.
The Sales Cloud editions changed in 2026
Since 3 September 2026, the Sales Cloud lineup is Free Suite, Starter Suite, Pro Suite, Core, Advanced and Max. Salesforce positions Core against the legacy Enterprise edition, Advanced against Unlimited and Max against the Agentforce 1 Edition. This is a comparison of value, not a formal rename. Existing Agentforce 1 customers can upgrade to Max at no extra cost.
Salesforce's pricing page says Core includes "advanced pipeline management and forecasting, opportunity scoring, conversation intelligence". Predictive Forecasting is "available for purchase" on Core, and Max includes "our full suite of AI". Core, Advanced and Max all include embedded agentic analytics and Slack. We couldn't confirm feature-by-edition placement from the pricing grid, and some documentation still uses the old edition names. Confirm the details with Salesforce before you sign. We don't quote prices.
The admin capacity question
Many mid-market companies have no full-time Salesforce admin. Before go-live, decide who answers user questions, who makes changes and who reviews each Salesforce release. You might train an internal admin, use part-time Salesforce administration services, or combine the two. If nobody has time to look after the system, it will gradually stop matching how the business works.
Who it suits
- Growing companies moving from spreadsheets or a simpler CRM.
- Teams with a first implementation that grew messy.
- Companies with a small IT team and no dedicated Salesforce staff.
Common mistakes
- Buying the top edition for features you might use in year three.
- Copying enterprise governance that slows a small team down.
- Customising before trying standard features.
- Going live without an admin plan.
