Marketing Cloud managed services

Ongoing operational support for Marketing Cloud Engagement and Marketing Cloud Next, delivered remotely from India with agreed overlap hours for US teams.

Marketing Cloud rarely fails loudly. An automation stops after repeated SQL errors, a journey keeps sending to a stale audience, or a mailbox provider tightens its rules and inbox placement slips. Our Marketing Cloud managed services give you a team that watches the platform, fixes what breaks and handles the steady flow of builds and changes your in-house team doesn't have time for.

GeekMidst works remotely from India. We support teams in the United States and elsewhere, with working windows agreed for each engagement. For broader Salesforce admin and engineering support, see Salesforce managed support. For a one-off review, see the Marketing Cloud audit.

How we work

  1. 01

    Discovery

Inventory business units, automations, journeys, integrations and known issues, then agree priorities and overlap hours.

  2. 02

    Design

Agree the service scope, request types, escalation path and a runbook for each critical automation.

  3. 03

    Build

Set up monitoring and documentation, and clear the existing backlog of errors.

  4. 04

    Test

Rehearse incident handling and confirm that test sends and QA happen before every change.

  5. 05

    Launch

Start the regular service, with one queue for requests and incidents.

  6. 06

    Support

Review volumes and recurring issues each month, and fix root causes rather than repeating fixes.

Working with US time zones

India Standard Time (UTC+5:30) has no overlap with the US East Coast in normal office hours. A 9:00 call in New York is 18:30 IST under EDT and 19:30 IST under EST, and US daylight saving ends on 1 November 2026. The usual pattern is an Indian evening window that meets the East Coast morning, with monitoring and routine work done during the Indian day so it can be ready before your day starts. For other US time zones, we agree a window during discovery. See working with teams in the United States.

Things we watch that are easy to miss

  • A SQL Query activity is deactivated if it fails 24 times in a row, and query activities time out after 30 minutes.
  • Einstein Send Time Optimization can take up to 72 hours after activation before you can use it in Journey Builder.
  • Every contact or lead synchronised through Marketing Cloud Connect counts as a contact in Contact Builder.

Prerequisites and licences

We work inside your existing Marketing Cloud Engagement or Marketing Cloud Next licences, with user access scoped to the business units we support. Some capabilities, such as Einstein features and Marketing Cloud Connect, depend on your edition and add-ons, so we check them during discovery.

Who it suits

  • Teams with one marketing operations person and more demand than capacity.
  • Companies whose original implementation team has moved on.

Common mistakes

  • Treating managed services as a ticket desk with no ownership of root causes.
  • Having no runbook, so only one person knows how critical automations work.
  • Skipping test sends for "small" changes.

Questions we hear

Do you offer 24/7 support?
We don't promise round-the-clock cover. Support hours and response expectations are agreed in the proposal, based on your time zone and how critical each automation is.
Do you have staff in the United States?
No. GeekMidst works remotely from India and has no US office. We agree overlap windows with US teams instead.
Can you support Marketing Cloud Next as well as Engagement?
Yes. We support both, including teams running them side by side during a move.
How do requests reach you?
Through an agreed ticket queue or channel, with a separate escalation route for incidents. We set this up during onboarding.
Is there a minimum term?
Terms are agreed per proposal. See our engagement models.
