Sales Cloud Implementation

We implement Sales Cloud end to end, from choosing an edition in the 2026 lineup to lead routing, opportunity stages, forecasting foundations and a supported launch.

Sales Cloud is Salesforce's CRM for sales teams: pipeline, forecasting and seller productivity. From October 2025 to about September 2026 Salesforce marketed it as "Agentforce Sales", and its product page now uses the Sales Cloud name again. GeekMidst implements Sales Cloud remotely from India, covering the build itself: data model, lead and opportunity process, automation, migration, testing and launch.

The Sales Cloud editions from 3 September 2026

Since 3 September 2026, Salesforce's Sales Cloud pricing page lists six editions: Free Suite, Starter Suite, Pro Suite, Core, Advanced and Max. Salesforce positions Core against the legacy Enterprise edition, Advanced against legacy Unlimited and Max against the Agentforce 1 Edition, and says existing Agentforce 1 customers can upgrade to Max at no extra cost. These are comparisons in value terms, not a formal rename, so don't assume every feature maps one to one.

What Salesforce's pages state:

  • Core includes "advanced pipeline management and forecasting, opportunity scoring, conversation intelligence".
  • Predictive Forecasting is "Available for purchase" on Core.
  • Max includes "our full suite of AI".
  • Core, Advanced and Max all include embedded agentic analytics and Slack/Slackbot.

The feature-by-edition grid could not be fully confirmed, so we check placement with your account team before you sign.

How we work

  1. 01

    Discovery

We review your sales process, current data, edition and the reports leaders actually use.

  2. 02

    Design

We document objects, stages, automation and permissions, and agree what is out of scope.

  3. 03

    Build

We configure Sales Cloud in a sandbox, using Flow for automation and code only where Flow is not enough.

  4. 04

    Test

Your sellers run acceptance tests against real scenarios and migrated sample data.

  5. 05

    Launch

We migrate data, deploy to production and support sellers through the first weeks.

  6. 06

    Support

We hand over documentation and can continue with admin or managed support.

Prerequisites and licences

  • A Sales Cloud edition that covers your scope. Some capabilities need a specific edition or add-on, for example Predictive Forecasting on Core.
  • Hunter, Salesforce's outbound sales agent, was a pilot at Dreamforce 2026 with general availability announced for November 2026. We don't plan around it until Salesforce confirms it for your org.
  • Agent features need Agentforce enabled and the matching licences; check with your account team.
  • A named business owner and a sandbox for build and testing.

Who it suits

  • Teams moving to Sales Cloud from spreadsheets or another CRM.
  • Orgs that grew without a design and need lead and opportunity processes rebuilt.
  • Organisations reviewing their edition after the September 2026 changes.

Common mistakes

  • Choosing an edition from a feature summary instead of confirming placement with Salesforce.
  • Copying an old CRM's stages without asking how deals actually progress.
  • Leaving the role hierarchy until late, which then blocks forecasting and sharing.

We often pair this work with data migration, integration services, sales forecasting consulting and Revenue Cloud consulting for quoting and billing. To build a business case first, try the sales ROI calculator.

Questions we hear

Which Sales Cloud edition should we choose?
It depends on your requirements. Core is positioned against the legacy Enterprise edition, Advanced against Unlimited and Max against Agentforce 1. We map your needs to the current pricing page and confirm placement with Salesforce before you commit.
We are on Agentforce 1. What happens?
Salesforce says existing Agentforce 1 customers can upgrade to Max at no extra cost. Check the terms of your own contract with your account team.
Is Sales Cloud the product that was called Agentforce Sales?
Yes. Agentforce Sales was the name used from October 2025 to about September 2026. Salesforce's product page now leads with Sales Cloud.
