Hyderabad's pharmaceutical and life sciences companies ask a lot of a CRM: field teams calling on doctors and hospitals, medical information requests, distributor relationships, and strict limits on what may be recorded and who may see it. We are an India-based Salesforce consultancy, and Hyderabad teams work with us remotely. We do not have a Hyderabad office.

Life sciences in Hyderabad

  • Telangana accounts for about one-third of India's pharmaceutical production and about one-fifth of its pharma exports, according to Business Today (February 2026) and CBRE.
  • CBRE describes Genome Valley as "India's first and largest life sciences manufacturing and R&D cluster", with more than 200 companies.
  • Business Today reports that Hyderabad is home to more than 800 pharma and life sciences companies, and that the state is aiming for US$25bn of sector investment by 2030.

These are published estimates and a government target, not figures we have checked ourselves.

Where Salesforce fits

Commercial and medical teams

Life Sciences Cloud covers clinical, medical, commercial and patient services. Salesforce's Winter '27 material lists Order Management, Voice-Based Visit Logging and event spend caps for the product, but our source gives no release status for them, so treat each as something to verify in your org. We can scope which parts your field and medical teams genuinely need.

Patient programmes and hospital relationships

Patient support schemes and provider accounts can sit closer to healthcare Salesforce solutions built on Health Cloud. Which product fits depends on who owns the programme and what data it holds.

Devices and diagnostics

Medtech firms in the cluster may be better served by our medical technology approach, where service history and installed equipment matter as much as sales.

Controls and audit trails

Regulated teams need tight access and a record of every change. Our security and governance service covers permission design and field history, plus Shield components such as Platform Encryption, Event Monitoring and Field Audit Trail. Shield sits in Salesforce's Guardian add-on portfolio and needs its own licence.

Time zone

Hyderabad shares India Standard Time with us, so there is no gap to manage; the India page sets out the DPDP Act timeline.

What working with us looks like from Hyderabad

  1. 01

    Map the sensitive data

We list the personal and health-related data the CRM will hold and who needs to see it, and your compliance team signs the list off.

  2. 02

    Choose the products

We compare Life Sciences Cloud, Health Cloud and a core Sales or Service Cloud setup against your processes, and say plainly when a lighter option is enough.

  3. 03

    Build with review points

Work happens in a sandbox, with checkpoints for your quality and compliance reviewers before anything moves forward.

  4. 04

    Validate and release

We support user acceptance testing, release and admin training, and record design decisions for your audit file.

Questions we hear

Do you have an office in Hyderabad?
No. GeekMidst is based in India and works remotely, and there is no Hyderabad office.
Do we need Life Sciences Cloud, or is Sales Cloud enough?
That depends on your processes and data. We assess both in discovery; Life Sciences Cloud is a separate industry product, so confirm licensing with your Salesforce account team.
Can you help us prepare for the DPDP Act?
We can design consent, access and retention in Salesforce to support your plan. Legal interpretation should come from your legal adviser.
