Salesforce Consulting in Canada
We work with Canadian organisations remotely from India. There are no shared office hours, so we run on a fixed call in your morning and written hand-offs.

GeekMidst works with Canadian organisations remotely from India. We have no office, address, phone number or team in Canada, and every meeting is a video call. We work in English only, so we're not the right fit if you need French-language delivery in Quebec. Prices are agreed per proposal.
The honest headline is the clock: India and Canada share no normal working hours. A Canadian engagement with us runs on a short, fixed call in your morning, which is our evening, plus written hand-offs.
Working across time zones
Canadian clock rules vary by province, and several changed in 2026. British Columbia made its last change on 8 March 2026 and stays on UTC−7 all year (the East Kootenay and Golden area follows Alberta). Alberta moves to Alberta Time, UTC−6 all year, with no clock reset from November 2026. Toronto moves from EDT to EST on 1 November 2026. Manitoba's move to permanent daylight time is reported by the press but not confirmed officially, and the Northwest Territories has announced an end to seasonal changes without a timeline. Check your province before booking recurring calls.
Your morning is our evening
| Your city | Your offset | Your 9:00 a.m. in India time (IST, UTC+5:30) | Shared hours |
|---|---|---|---|
| Toronto, until 1 Nov 2026 | EDT, UTC−4 | 6:30 p.m. | None |
| Toronto, from 1 Nov 2026 | EST, UTC−5 | 7:30 p.m. | None |
| Calgary | Alberta Time, UTC−6 | 8:30 p.m. | None |
| Vancouver | UTC−7 all year | 9:30 p.m. | None |
We agree one call slot in your morning and keep the rest asynchronous: written decisions, recorded walkthroughs and a daily status note. Work done in the Indian day is ready when you start yours.
Data and privacy rules to plan for
PIPEDA is the federal private-sector law and is still in force; the regulator is the Office of the Privacy Commissioner. Plan for:
- reporting breaches to the OPC, and telling affected people "as soon as feasible", where there is a real risk of significant harm;
- recording every breach and keeping the record for two years;
- telling people their data may be processed abroad. Sending data to a service provider counts as a "use", so no extra consent is needed, but you stay accountable.
Reform is pending, not law. Bill C-36, which would enact the Protecting Privacy and Consumer Data Act, was introduced on 15 June 2026 and is at second reading, with no Royal Assent.
Quebec's Law 25 took effect in stages from September 2022 to 22 September 2024. Plan for a privacy impact assessment and a written agreement before personal information leaves Quebec, which matters if people abroad, including us, can see it. Incidents with a risk of serious injury go to the CAI, the people affected and a register.
CASL, enforced by the CRTC, needs express or implied consent for commercial messages; implied consent lasts two years after a purchase or six months after an inquiry. Messages identify the sender and carry an unsubscribe that works for 60 days, processed within 10 business days.
Check each with your legal adviser. Our international data governance architecture shows how to tag jurisdiction and consent on records.
Salesforce data residency: Hyperforce Canada
Canada is listed as an AWS hosting location in Salesforce's Infrastructure and Sub-processors document of 19 December 2025. Not every service is available in every region, and a newer version of the document exists, so get written confirmation for each cloud you license.
Services Canadian teams ask us about
- Marketing Cloud consulting, with CASL consent dates built into the data model
- Consent and preferences in Marketing Cloud Next
- Salesforce integration services for ERP and manufacturing systems
- Managed support, which suits an overnight hand-off
Industries
Invest in Canada highlights advanced manufacturing (aerospace, automotive, EV batteries, semiconductors), life sciences, energy, critical minerals, agriculture and technology. See our manufacturing, automotive and healthcare pages, or all locations.
How a remote engagement works
- 01
Discovery call
Your morning, our evening. We ask which provinces you serve, whether Quebec data is involved, and how you record CASL consent.
- 02
Proposal
Scope, assumptions, the agreed price and the call rhythm.
- 03
Design and build
Written designs you review in your day; build in a sandbox during ours.
- 04
Test and launch
Your users test in their hours; releases avoid provincial holidays and dates such as Remembrance Day.
- 05
Support
Overnight fixes and release help, or a clean handover.
Questions we hear
Do you have an office in Canada?
Is Bill C-36 law yet?
Can our Salesforce data stay in Canada?
